so right now im lookin at the screen and im seeing `reet@Xbx-HDM:/2` right after i types`lockhd -a` and it ask if i want to lock hdd and i sed yes so that where its at....should i wait

ok ok ... start over fresh from here on .
we make new hd , the reason i mentioned hotswap was for the retail hd to work so that we can get its eeprom.
but since you already have the eeprom.bin we dont need to hotswap and save old retail hd .
NOW... you already ftped your info so you can start preping the files by transfering your backups to its right places . your C content to xboxhdm1.9/ C folder the same with e and eeprom . burn the image
take the disc out ( it could damge pc if runing it ) restart pc press F2 change boot order to cd drive first. power off take pc hd off put new hd power on put disc in and re do the process....
the last step is 3) locking unlockin utilies.
I KNOW YOU ALREADY DID THIS but you dont have your eeprom.bin ON THE CURRENT DISC . so thats why you need to RE BURN THE DISC with the eeprom.bin this time.....
so far do you understand me ? or i am explaing wrong?
lockhd -a exactly its case sensitve... so it has a space between lockhd and - a only 1 space

so you did the disc again with the eeprom.bin this time and your saved backed up info . and you got to the point where your about to lock it and you typed
lockhd -a

omg this is murder...now the new drive is saying error 16 what shoude be in the drive C: and E: so i dont put anything extra?? just gimmi a layout cause im gonna mae one more ISO and start over from scratch and see what happends
