if you did everything stick the hd in and see what happens . purpose of hotswap is to make hd back to retail state , considerin you dont have backup or eeprom.bin or any other way to restore xbox...

ok so now it all done and i put the command reboot and it sed it would but this came up`Calling I2C reset again and it wont stop do i leave it or what

??? you dont need to lock it .... i think your lookin at my second link .... it was hotswap w/out eeprom not making a bigger with pc

wait you had your real eeprom.bin ? and we are trying to rescue your retail hd ????? lmao i though you didnt have your eeprom. bin.....
if you do have your eeprom.bin then just grab xboxhdm1.9 and put your backups in the neceary fields.. C folder on C E folder on E and eeprom.bin on eeprom folder... make iso win turn off pc plug new hd
change jumper setting to master on hd slave on drive to read disc . re do xboxhd then enter build new hd from scratch say yes to F and then poweroff or reboot this time run option 3 locking /unlocking utlities and type in
lockhd -a

but since you got your eeprom.bin then all you need to do is
drag and drop .... for say your backed up C folder transfer it all exactly to xboxhdm1.9 / C , your eeprom. bin to your xboxhdm1.9/eeprom
and your E folder to xboxhdm1.9/ E
and you should be good form their ....
NOW THAT S MAKING THE DISC... my question is did you try to hotswap the new hd ?
and why did you get error 16 in the first place?
NOW the 2nd part ( take the disc out first!!!!)
power off pc turn it back on press F2 and change the boot order to be cd drive first . then save settings . the jumper settin on new hd should be master , slave on cd drive
run it and it should auto run xboxhdm1.9 then chooose 1) build new hd from scrathc... say yes to F , reboot this time run into 3) mini linux with locking unlockin utilies.
then type exactly lockhd -a pop new hd on xbox and your good to go ..... but first answer me those little questions i asked _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

well th hotswiping was being done to the retail drive and the new hdd i just copied what was on the retail to that and then just put it on another drive to make sure its clean and the error 16 i loaned my xbox to my cuz and i dont know what the bastard did cause he wont say so the error he must have been messin around a messed it up and want me to deal with it....so i just said hmm this is an oppertunity to put a bigger hd in the xbox so i took it
