is there any change i can install a larger HDD on xbox without use the FTP thing, because i don't have any of those tool, eth-port or anything. Question

You can chimp it, its a god way to get the hdd in if you ask me.
Can be done cheap and no need to ftp, check the guide by FinelCloud here http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-260.html

NO i haven't, idon't know how to do it, i just softmod my xbox use SID 4.5 please help, thank you

thanks wes213 is a good guide but how do you get the chimp install and what is the the Molex Y-splitter

You can install CHIMP with the AID disc. U can get a Y molex from any computer store.

what version is your xbox as chimp requires a different process for v1.6 xboxes

The 1.6 is coverd in the guide to (For a v1.6 Xbox, refer to this link: http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-255.html ) Clouds got the chimp guide on lockdown. Wink

Does he know how to ftp though, he will need to if he has a 1.6 (which it seems like most people do now).
