New softmod on a 1.0 everything was fine Loading apps and skins for Evox. turned it off went bed. was going to mess with it tonite and get the three green then frag. any ideas. ive read some where that the three boots then frag means something specific. hopefully i can fix it with your Help. thanks CJack

I think the flashing green is a mucked eeprom you might need to run xboxhdm to fix that one.

I created the Iso and was going to burn it to dvd So I could upgrade the hd.
should I go ahead and do a HD upgrade and see if it comes out of it. I did the Upgrade on the 1.6 and it worked slick.

Man modding is whats fun I rarely play these suckers anymore the kids play the hell out of them and I will try to keep it up and running. I will upgrade the HD and see what happens if that don,t work I will try try again.

burnt the Iso this morning and tryed to rebuild a new 60 gig but it did not work when I tryed to lock it, it said eeprom not found on the cd. so i figured I had burnt it wrong or Placed the eeprom in the wrong folder. but i say again no I did not try to repair the 8gig xboxHD. yet. do you think it would act different than the new HD

Used xboxhd to remake the c drive then rebooted and locked the HD all seemed well. but the results are the same Three boot frag no error on screen.

How are you shutting off your XBox? Typically you want to use the shutoff command on the dashboard and NOT push the button, trust me, it fragged my 160 gig, so I rebuilt, and hardmodded to be safe, works like a charm. Anyway, what softmod are you installing? You said evox right? It may be the most simple, but I would also recommend putting in a new dash instead, see if you get the same results...
