I was bored so figured I'd stick this up and see what everyones runnin. I'll go first since I started the thread I guess. Alright I've got a PowerMac G5 it's got dual 3.4GHz processers 4 250GB HDD's and 16GB of RAM, also I have a Mac Mini with a 2.16 or 2.46GHz processer 2GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD. I also have a PC it's an older DELL Latitude laptop I think it's a 1.2GHz processer and its got 256mb of RAM and a 20GB HD. I only use it when I have to go to someones house to work on their Xbox it's really too slow for me to use for anything else. I got it for a Xbox though so I can't complain and I get to charge extra for house calls. BTW I wanna see specs if you guys got em. _________________

Ya, I kinda fix PC's... so I have like 3 running XP and a couple that run linux (ones kubuntu and the other sabayon... i think there's one somewhere with gentoo too... dunno). My main server is an AMD 900mhz with 386 in ram and a hercules 3d prophet II gts 64mb graphics card (it runs faster than you think, I'm an XP god ) All my XP computers are themed like vista, because I like how it looks but not how it runs. The computer i'm on is a Athlon 1.25ghz with 768mb of RAM and a nvidia 5300 graphics card. I primarily use it for gaming and day-to-day use. I have a P4 1.8ghz with a geforce4 that I also use for gaming and day-to-day if I feel like it (i like the AMD machine better). Oh, and I have about 30 PII's sitting in my closet... I guess that's what you get for fixing computers...
PS You should attach a poll... Title it "OS Wars!"

Are you kidding Intel is by far better haven't you ever heard of the Quad Core Xtreme. Easily overclockable above 3.4Ghz w/out water cooling. And the fastest desktop available the PowerMac G5 uses Intel CPU. Have you ever tried an Apple out bongripz. I was the same way you were until I got on my bros for a a couple hours. They are soooo much better no viruses better performance and alot more reliable than Windows by far. O and if you get bootcamp on your Mac you can run windows and as many linux distros as you want and just pick which you want to boot and w/ my powermac's CPU power and 16GB of ram I can run about 4 different OS's in different windows on Mac OSX 10 using virtual mahcines. _________________

I used top of the line Apples in school for 12 years starting with the 2gs all the way up to powermac G4s. This about sums up my feelings about apple products right here--> http://www.thebestpageintheuniverse.net/c.cgi?u=macs_cant
As for the intel quad core, I dont even have the money for an intel duo core extreme, let alone a quad core. _________________

I never said there was zero problems a Mac what I'm saying Bongripz is that I'd much rather buy a Mac hook it up to the internet never get a virus and never need a virus program, also I've never had a single problem with any Mac I've ever had compared to having to do a full system restore on 4 of the PC's I've owned. BTW if you ever happened to need to do a full restore its much easier and user friendly on Mac and alot of them come with the OSX disk do most PC's come w/ the Windows disk?? If you've ever looked in the Mac Bible. I think thats what its called anyways, there is so much built in to Mac OSX that you can do without buying any other software it puts Windows to shame. Ask any of my friends that have a PC that have used my mac and they'll tell that as soon as they have the money/chance they're gonna get a Mac. I guess its your choice though bongripz and yeah that website link was right Apple owners can't shutup about how much better Mac is than PC, but its hard to when you know your right. I mean where else do you get as good a prooduct straight from the factory I've never even wanted to change any hardware on my Mac's except for ram upgrades. O and the apple 30" cinema display. BTW bonripz the new OS for Mac has so many insane features that Vista should but it doesn't if you dont believe me check out apple.com and look for the page describing the new OS. BTW anyone tried Apple's web browser Safari for Windows yet its about 6 times faster than IE and about 2.5 to 3x's faster than Mozilla. Try it if you want guys I don't really care but it is way faster and it's a damn good browser has Windows ever made a single program that Apple has used; nope not a one. Well that's all I have to say for now, if you don't like Apple that's fine w/ me bongripz but you're missin out on alot if you don't have one. _________________

This is multiplatform parasitic virus. It infects DOS COM and EXE, Windows EXE (NE) and Windows32 EXE (PE) files. It also has a part of code that looks like a MDEF Macintosh resource and seems to be also a virus for Macintosh. I see no way for that virus to spread from Macintosh to PC, and from...
