you could do that, but i was just trying to show that you dont have to have any additional programs to ftp if you dont want to.
Click start =>
All programs =>
Accessories =>
Calculator
click `help` tab on calc.
then `help topics`
then click on the little yellow question mark at top left of page
in the window that appears, click on `jump to URL`
Enter FTP://xbox:xbox@192.168.1.3 ....... (or whateva ur IP is)
works a treat, have fun

use CoreFTP, its free and the best FTP client available
its not really a debate about whats the best FTP program,
its more about using what windows gives u to use, besides third party programs

I found that using windows, as opposed to a program, is a lot faster.
I used FlashFXP for awhile, and it transfered about one file every three seconds...to slow for me..
Windows on the other hand acted like it was just copying files to a new location, which obviously it was, but yeah...thats my opinion.

true, its there it works and its free. But then CoreFTP is just as easy and for total file management over FTP its by far the best client.

another easy way to ftp is through xbmc. theres an option in the file explorer to connect to your network ro workgroup or something like that. Im pretty sure the newest xbmc dosnt have this though. _________________
