Ok, I just bought a 400gb harddrive to upgrade from my 250gb harddrive. I want to copy everything from my old harddrive to my new one. Can anyone give me a walkthrough on how to do this the easiest. I'd like to partition my new harddrive on my xbox rather than on a computer. What programs are best to use? I hear Chimp can be used to copy between two harddrives, but does it also partition it? I've also read that AID can be burned to a CD-RW to then be used in the xbox drive and I can partition it from there. Any help or just some friendly words to know I'm headed in the right direction is much appreciated... Very Happy

It's a chipped xbox and I believe it's a version 1.4 xbox according to wikipedia. Don't know how else to find out the version.

ok, thats good, means you can use chimp to clone it. Just unplug the dvd and hook that hdd up to where it was hooked up, and you will need some kind of power splitter so you can have power to the hdd.

Then just run Chimp, and choose the clone option. Should be alright, dont worry about locking it as you have a chip.
