I have been trying to sent files over from my mac os x to my xbox like emulators but there are not that many thing i can do this with. i found one cyberduck. everytime i try to connect to my comp it asks me for my keychain password. i went over to the site were i got cyberduck and it told me i needed to signup to get a password tat would allow me to share files over the crossover wire. i signed up and it told me i needed to wait 20 minutes before it becomes active. well its been 4 hours and i still need that keychain password to trasfer file. does anyone know of a better program or something else i can do.

so cyberduck is your ftp program? try a different ftp program for mac, alternatively burn a copy of AID 3.1 which contains all apps, emulators you need for xbox.. _________________

Give you a tip monktang,
Go and download Auto Installer Deluxe and burn to a DVDR..
Then boot your modded xbox and leave AID in the dvdrom drive.
You can install everything from the dvd using the menu.
Its much easier the ftping everything over too..
I only use ftp for transfering roms etc and not the main applications.
yeah i already have the AID3 and i already intalled that in my xbox. i just dont have any emulators on there. got the mamex and the n64. the problem is when i download hem from here and unzip them, i tranfer them to my xbox on my emulation folder and i chaeck my xbox and it says its empty. i look check all the drives and under my e drive it does say that i have them and i can get into them and see things like theinstaller and things like that and read them but when i go back to the emulator folder there is no mamex that i can play. do i just wanted to know if im transfering the file wrong am i unzipping it wron. what can i do or have to do to get it to were i can play the emulator and the games.

from memory you just unzip the .zip file of the emulator you want and then copy over to the E:\Apps\ directory on your xbox..
Or E:\Emulators.
Look for other directorys.
By the way.. What dashboard are you using..??
if you are running evox you may need to check the evox.ini file.
i am running unleashhed.and when i unzip the files. a folder comes u on my comp. then i tranfer it to the e drive on my xbox under emulators. when i click on my emulator folder it says its empty.then i go to file explorer were it shows my c,d,e,f,x,y and z. i click on z. go to emulators and it shows that mamex is on there. i go back to the main menu click on emulators and it says its empty. that why i wanna know if im transfering them wrong or unziping them wrong. i already installed AID3 and im running unleashed.

Yes cyberduck doesn't run well at all on unleash (I too had iusses with my mac too) So this is what you do...get fetch and the free 15 day ver and FTP using that FTP and all your files will then FTP over. If I am guessing right when you use cyberduck on most dashed (besides XBMC) there is little red circles over the folders themselfs. Try that and if that doesn't work (which it should) LMK
PS if you want more mac programs I can hook you up big time with the first and last web site you will ever need for a Mac _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

it does not matter which program i use the files still come out the same. i did use fletch. i just want to know if im doing something wrong when i unzip the files o when i tranfer them. can some one give me steps todownloading them from the page where i have to put in the code, when i unzip them, when i tranfer them, and when i put them in the e files. like i said when i put them in my emulator files they dont show when i try to play them then only show when i go and explore my files.

Ok so we can't tell you where to get roms, but do you see a load of files after you unzip the rom files?? also if you are using mameox...and oddly I think 64 roms too have to be zipped so you shouldn't be unzipping them.
Nevermind on that you still don't have the emu on your xbox do you?? If thats the case DL them from IRC xbins or from there web site. then do it that way _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

Yeah thats what hobbes stated before...where did you get your dash from? The dash has a .ini folder thaty tells it to look for folders in a given place. If its the emus you can't seem to get running then tell you the truth pay someone to burn you AID3 disc and wait for it. ITs will make you feel dumb because it works so fast and its cake. I felt real dumb...but thats because I am..lol. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
