I have all the emulators from AID on my hard drive and I can FTP the roms to my hard drive fine and put them in the correct folder for each emulator. I have a problem loading them once they are on my hard drive. It doesnt matter what emulator I use NES, SNES, Gensis etc. None of the roms ever load, they always go to a black screen and freeze.
Is there a certain button to press to load the roms once you select them or something?

That sounds more like a bios problem. What Xbox version and bios are you running? The xbox games work fine from the hard drive. It is just when launching the roms.
I have the original xbox v1.0 and have not updated any bios. Not to sure how to update bios on there.

this sounds to me like either corrupt ini file of th emulator, or bad roms, cause i've had that problem specially with Surreal64, trying to load some roms, didn't want to work, it will just lead to a black screen, and i had to press eject button to reset to get it fixed, and didn't find another way.
then i started deleting bad roms, and downloading from other places, i won't mention here.

I have tried several different emulators for many different systems and I tried loading games in all the rom folders The NES one said it was loading then would always go back to the main menu. Maybe they are just bad roms or something? I just downloaded a file that had like 1000 roms for different systems.
