Yesterday I had everything done I went to sleep and woke up I put a 3 different dvds in my xbox and they wouldnt play so i was gonna reinstall everything i dont remember what i did but i know i deleted everything on my xbox because when i tried the splinter cell trick the file wasnt there what can i do?

And damn u pirrup for using such a misleading link text for the Ms Dash, how could he have ever seen that when he clicked in Hotswap?

ok i did everything your tutorial told me to do but for some reason the disc isnt booting it just sits there at the boot disc part

ok i got the cd to boot but now when i get to xboxhd it doesnt detect the hhd i dont know what to do i know my pc detects it but xboxhd doesnt
and it dosent get to the log in part

ok my xbox hd wasnt working right so i put a new one in a 20gig one and installed the files useing xboxhm 1.9 now im geting error code 13 and whe i try to use a game i get error 05 what do i do now?

I don't see how it could work with the new HDD, since its most likely not locked properly (unless you did that at some point). And since you don't have a backup of your eeprom (or do you?) there's no point in using that drive, stick to your XBOX HD because it is locked.
As for the trouble with your XBOX HDD: What did you mean by "wasnt working right"? As far as I understand, the locked XBOX HDD is essential to the Hotswap Tutorial (unless you got your EEPROM backed up, which would make the hotswap unneccesary).

Well ive givin up on trying to put my xbox back together but if i get a new xbox and softmod it can i put the files from the new xbox thats been modded onto my old xbox
Somehow someway i want to make my old xbox useable what is your best suggestion im open to anything i just want it workin but if its possiable to put the files back on please let me know remember my old xbox is completely erased thanks oh by the way i dont have eeprom

hotswapping is only if your hd is empty and locked . (recovering dead hd)
you need to read my other tutorials on upgrading a hd using a pc .
