Hi,
Can anyone confirm if this might be a possible way to transfer game save exploit to memory card ?
Would I be able to transfer the save if I connected my controller to the USB port of the PC with an adapter and then used the action replay software (or some other software ??) to transfer to the card ?
Just the only other way I can think of is to FTP the save into a modded box then to transfer ......but i am not to hot with FTP.
Any help with either of the subjects would be nice !
I have a 1.6x XBOX and would be using a crossover lead to FTP to the modded box & 8mb flash memory card. (the modded box is running evox dash)
I will be using the SC exploit from SID 3 and the AID 2.11 FINAL to install the dashes etc after. - Where is the best location to FTP to on the modded box and how do i then thransfer to the card ?
Sorry for all these newbie Q but I dont want to destroy the xboxes !!!

It's possible to transfer the exploit onto a memory card from AR.
The easiest way is to buy a usb or smart-joy cable from ebay, that way you can transfer all game saves you currently have on your xbox back to the pc prior to formatting the drive. _________________ xbox v1.2

well, this is true, and here's my method.
1.- built my own xbox to usb controler adapter.
2.- installed xboxcd control drivers.
3.- installed hacked 1.30 version of Action Replay found at codejunkies.
4.- plugged my memory card to the contrler plugged to my pc, and successfully installed it(manual install and browse to your action replay/drivers folder). This was an original microsoft memory card, if you wish to use some other memory card, you'll have to edit the driver files using uxbview.......which is another story.
abot the ftp, read about it it's not difficult, but you must be modded to have ftp access first.

I think i will try the controller method and the Action replay software.....I am very unsure of the FTP method and would hate to wreck my mates modded box !!!
Any body know a little more about the AR drivers ???- the memory card i have is a 8mb flash card with an 'i' printed on it. might be 'infinity' make not sure.

Not so sure about the drivers for that particular memory card hopefully some else will pick up on this post.
I used a microsoft memory card as most recommend it, the drivers are easy to get and the exploit had no transfer problems. _________________ xbox v1.2

I also posted this in the softmod installer deluxe section and got some good info from Dangermouse - I have checked the link and it looks promising !
