I have a new 120GB hard drive I would like to install into my xbox. I have a wireless network. I downloaded auto installer from website and burn iso to dvd-r and cdrw. Xbox will not recognize disk. Can someone tell me what to do to get this hard drive installed. is there a certain disk to use. Crying or Very sad

Hi,

To upgrade your hdd you will have to have a XBOX MODCHIP or have your XBOX SOFTMODDED! Smile

If you can already boot backup games from dvd-r then you must have a modchip or softmod working!

Its probably just a media problem.
Try burning to another brand of DVD-R or CDRW and boot in your xbox with your modchip enabled!

thats about it.. A menu will come up!
