Ok, so isi a softmod usin sc on my xbox. i was uninstalling unleashx so i can install evox. apon reboot my xbox went to the error screen. i did some research, figured out what err21 is and a forum saying to make a slayers disk. i made the disc and treid to put my xbox back to normal. now my xbox goes to the error 21 scree, however, before i eas able to play my game discs and now not so much.i can ftp only if the slayers disc menu was on the xbox. i dont have any back ups for the dash or anything. is there any way to get my xbox to function like a regular boring xbox again? oh and unless i can attach the xbox hd to my laptop with no external hd shell, then i cant hotswap

Can you still boot up your disk you used to softmod your xbox?

yeh exactly, try and boot your original game so you can boot the softmod which is hopefully still on the hdd.. (if you haven't formatted).

ahhhh, softmod, my first successful mod ever!
I have had a lot of trial and error with the softmod my self, so i am pretty familiar with it.
As long as you do as FH said above, you can load the softmod up and reinstall your Dashboard as this is usually what causes the error 21 to be generated.
If you cannot do this, please click the "Hotswap Tutorial" link in my signature, and perform these steps, they should help. Also i take no responsibility for any issues that may occur during operation.
