You use Chimp from the AID disc. Final Cloud has written a tutorial on how to use the app. Look for him and there is a link for the tut underneath his sig. It's pretty self explainatory and very simple to follow. _________________

What I would do if I was you is format the large hdd out in a xbox with mod chip (I only say this because you have to change the formatting to 32 bit clusters and I'm not sure if chimp or xboxhdm can do that). Then get the eeprom off your xbox and lock the hdd with xboxhdm. Then stick it into your xbox. I'm assuming you have a mod chipped xbox because your profile says you have an everything mod. _________________

Well with that much space you are only making more room for storage, it would only make sense to "save your games", or install your new mega storage drive reinstall using AID and whalla' you have MEGA STORAGE, with perfer-a-blly 10,000RPM? _________________ Support A Hard Modder!

10,000RPM for faster write and transfer speed. they DO make HDD's with that speed!
I think this is a point trying to be made to the attention of a Modder for a long over due awareness only for Performance Issues. _________________ Support A Hard Modder!

Darth, he already said it was for a softmod dude. Read the posts. And yes, Chimp can change cluster size. I did it with my 250GB HDD. _________________

If you would have looked above I said that I'm assuming he has a mod chipped xbox. _________________

Darth, chill out man. I don't know what's to prove here, but yes I did read that and if you would have read in the first place you wouldn't have had to assume. Let it go man. I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm trying to help this guy. This is the second post that you have tried to blast me on. _________________

Its all good JP. Some of us come here to help and get help and some of us come here to see whos better than the other. I'm here to help and get helped. I don't want to argue with anyone about anything.
I don't want to go to my room though. I'll behave. I promise.
With that out of the way, did you get your fix yet or no? The topic kind of strayed. Did you try Chimp? _________________

I've never used HDM so I cant call it. I'll look into it for you though and get back. Hopefully somebody who is familiar with it will step in. Let me see what the other guys have to say. It shouldn't be brain surgery or anything though. Most of this stuff is hands on. You do it once and it's yours forever.
You're right about the TB. That's way more space than you'll ever need. I have a 120GB and it's been more than a plenty for me. Maybe I'll upgrade one day, but I still have like 80% of it free. _________________

That's weird. I'm off to work at 4:00 to cook at Texas Steakhouse. Have fun JP. I know what you have to put up with. Restuarants are crazy. _________________
