I have been lurking around these forums for about a month now to make sure I don't make an ass out of myself for my first post. I have a couple of questions if all of you would not mind answering them.
1) Which is better to run sid or Evox Auto installer?
2) Can i run XBOX media center along with sid or Evox?
3) Can I run linux along with evox or sid?

SID by far. When you use it install UnleashX its one of the best dashboards around.

Yes just get a copy of AID from AIDeluxe.com and go to apps and install xbmc into your E:\ drive

and thats why you are an elite member nice to see a good clean response instead of ridicule. I just have one more question. Can I do all the softmod and everything else just using AID? because I have been lokking at the AID manual http://aid.xbox-hq.com/manuals_aid30_09.html#chapter and it looks like i dont have to do the whole memory card and 007 game thing if I used AID correct me if I am wrong.

Well if youve been on some of the forums Ive been on you'd see where I was coming from cough cough PSP3D.com.... I finally get it now. AID has sid in it for the sake of easiness. or you can use SID first then autoinstaller for apps. My last question I promise is which SID should I use Final LIte or N-Knave??

As for the question i use sid 4.5 cos it's hard to get it wrong and i've done 40-50 softmods and only got the first one wrong the rest have gone great...
and don't mind the questions we all want to help!!!!!!!!

I'd use 3.1 Final not Knave sure the dualboot is cool but it sometimes messes up on some older xboxs if you know the manufacturing date i think we can help you decide which sid is the best for you. _________________

Just finished my softmod with Knave. My xbox was from 2004 and it took to the softmod great I love UnleashX. Thanks for all the help now onto AID
