Is there a way to soft-mod with out the video games that most people say you need? Because I am a little short on cash yes still want to soft-mod.

I'm not a pro at soft modding, but from what I understand, you will need an exploitable game to softmod.
For what it's worth you can usually find a used copy in the popular gaming stores for about $5.
It's worth the trip, trust me.

Just get the Serial #'s off the site, and go to your local rental shop, and just ask to see the game before you rent to make sure it has the right Serial on it...
