i just recently softmodded my xbox with the AID 3.0. everything works great, except i can't seem to share my internet connection with my pc. i could before the mod, it worked just fine. but i had to change settings and stuff to be able to ftp, and now i cant regain my xbox's internet connection no matter what i try. i did the ICS precedure just like before, but it wont work! i got the SID 4.5 just so i could continue to use xbox live without getting banned, and i would like to take advantage of the internet features in XBMC. Help appreciated!

can you use live? can you ftp? linksbox is a good net browser xdsl is good too... they are both on aid 3 . _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

no live--it cant connect to the internet. i can ftp though. those programs, they are like regular web browsers? do you know how i can fix my connection problem?

the problem relies with your xbox connecting to internet right ? not pc with net? 2ndly when you plug your xbox to the net do you get 0.0.0.0. on your dashboard? and fianly when you plug the net cable on the back of the xbox does it glow green or not? _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

right, pc to net is fine. regardless of whether my cable is plugged in or not, my dash says 192.168.0.3, which is the static ip i use to ftp to my pc with. and nothing glows when i plug my cable in...what would glow? also, it is definitely a crossover cable; i am not noob enough to make that mistake

hmm it doesnt glow but your givine an ip number... see if it doesnt glow green or flash orange while using its port then the chip on the adapter is busted but you also get 0.0.0.0 so thats werid... try messing with your ip thou .. any input be great guys. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

no gus what I meant if nothing works that means the ICS PHY chip is Ka Put and I know that you know that. _________________
