Hi,
I'm new to the xbox having just got hold of an old second hand one but I am having a bit of a problem trying to softmod. I think there may be one simple thing I am not doing properly.
I have a standard PAL UK xbox with
K 100.5101.01
D 100.5960.01
I have 2 versions of Splinter Cell (Classics and normal) as well as 007 (classics)
Xploder Gamesaves Lite (I believe this is also known as Gameshark), the lite version allows transfers of gsx files between PC and xbox so I have to use the gameshark saves version of the mods.
Basically I have followed most of the guides and appear to have successful mod the xbox but when I restart I get the Error 13 or 14 and it jusy hangs. It will however let me boot originals so I can restart 007 or SPlinter Cell and remove the softmod.
So, I have downloaded AID 3.0 (and 3.3 and patched and burnt), copied SID 4.5 gameshark files to my xbox memcard via Xploder, copied these files to the xbox HD. Booted Spliter Cell linux save. backed up Eeprom, MS dash, then installed softmod (I have tried all combinations of Duel boot, single boot etc with evox and unleashx). Everything looks great, I reboot when prompted and Bang! Error 13 Contact Support.
It won't let me boot AID 3.3 disc and theres no dash - have I done something wrong?
Please can someone help - much appreciated!!!

Just wondering, i downloaded the AID 3 from mininova.org, maybe I got a bust version? Anyway, does anyone know where I could maybe get another version of the gameshark files? I have tried the SID 4.5 and 3.1 in the AID 3 pack, the 3.1 version just hangs on the loader screen once you load the linux save game.
up to the bit where you make an xbox USB drive then used the Action Replay zip files from AID 3.03 and it worked like a dream!
