hi i hope you can help me, i have an xecuter 3 mod chip and i think i have wiped my hard drive out and cant get past the first screen when it says boot to dash can you help please! please contact me on markmcanulty at btinternet .com or post a reply would be greatly helpful thanks

What bios do you have flashed on it? The X3 bios? If so, hold down the white button on your controller at startup to go to X3CL... You can use X3CL to see what's up. Also, you can just burn a copy of AID3 and use it to re-format the hdd. _________________ OTB Mods.com

I would usually click on reboot to dash and the Dashboard would come up and im laughing but it just doesnt boot up at all, im waiting to get DVDS to try that AID programme and try and sort it out that way, so what should i do? will that programme sort it out? if so how? were do i click and what im sorry for being a pest but im in a jam and miss my Box big style Thankx for da support

Have you tried an FTP to your xbox from your computer (username and password are both x3 in the x3 bios)? If not give it a try and see what is going on in your dash folder. If you go into the menu in the x3 bios screen there should be an option somewhere to name your dashboards. Name your main dash F:\dash\name of dash
This is assuming that F is your default drive and that you have a folder named "dash" where your dashboard is located.

Just another tip here. In future if you want to boot straight to your dash instead of X3CL, simply disable 'Autostart X3 Config Live', and when you power on, it should go straight to your dash.
(Also, as guru said, when you want to boot X3CL, just hold the white button on powerup ) _________________
