I suspect that hobbs would have pointers but the only one I've ever really used was Front Page. It's not overly user friendly though. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

Yeah, it's hard finding good user-friendly web authoring programs. Since I code all my sites by hand and design them in Photoshop, I really couldn't help you. Definately stay clear of Dreamweaver, pretty complex. Actually, contrary to what others have said, the best "user-friendly" program would probably be Front Page, especially for the in-experienced. My 2 cents.... _________________ XBOX v1.6c

I replied to your PM.
I personally love Dreamweaver, especially the newer versions. I can't stand Frontpage and to me it is limiting and depends on server extensions blah blah. I speak from the view point of years of being in the web hosting industry for both design and web hosting so to me Dreamweaver is easy. Just my thoughts.
One thing to consider is that if you base your site on a content management system (CMS), most have built in content editors to create pages, navigation and the content. This is definitely something to consider and ones like Joomla are very powerful and extensible. _________________ 10% VIP Discount (Coupon Code: HQ-VIP-001 ) - Signup for web hosting at www.TweakedHosting.com/clients/aff.php?aff=004 and earn the HQ network of sites recurring income!

I was looking at the two you recommended, the Mambo and Joomla. I think I will give those a try. They seem pretty good and to the point. They also have added features that I might want to use. _________________

I have a great tutorial. It's called Dreamweaver 8 for Dummies.. It's pretty good and detailed. I'm already working on the new site. Get the book, I believe I paid $25 for it. It's worth the money. _________________
