you know that .exe means an application right? so maybe when you got your computer fixed the app. that ran to work the iso's. It sys its an image app which is for isos so that is probably why its not working. But I would google it or something to quickly solve your problems. I hope that helps a little bit.
It would be easier to help you if we knew what you're trying to do.
Obviously, you're trying to backup a game you own.
In your profile, give us a clue to what your system consists of. Is your Xbox stock or modded? If modded, soft mod or chip? Is your hard drive retail or larger capacity?
Not too many of us use CloneXB. We typically copy the original disk to HD using Dvd2xbox and then use Craxtion to create an ISO on our PC. We then burn the ISO to a DVD with Nero or Alcohol 120% or some other image burning software. _________________ Not quite a Newbie

yes you got to tell us what you are "loaded" with. If you tell us we can help? I personally just insert the game in my D drive then copy it into my computer. THen wirte in on an iso then use dvd decrypter. It seems easier to me. But we all have our own routines. Be more descriptive.

thanks at least for replying guys, ill go to my account and give some more info about what im loaded with. but what executable file do you think i need since i reloaded my comp? would it come with windows update?
I'll be straight with you. I don't have a clue what you're asking.
If you want to copy Xbox games that run 98% of the time, use the method that I outlined to you in my previous message.
Maybe some other members who have used CloneXB successfully can explain the error message and tell you how to solve the problem. _________________ Not quite a Newbie

lol ok ill tell you exactly what my problem is. ok, i open up clonexb and i type in my xbox's ip, user, and password. then i choose a destination for the iso's to be loaded to (i.e. C:/desktop/halo 2 iso) then i start the copy procces, but right when i choose it, it says that i need a Gdfimage.exe to run the program clonexb properly. and it also says that if i email the person who made it that he will not reply to it (obviously its a noobish error that i have on my hands)
you get what im saying now?

Ok, the deal here is that GDFimage.exe is an MS copyrighted program, which means it would be illegal to supply this with CloneXB (as far as I know), without a licence.
If you look around a bit (google etc.) you should be able to find it.
I have to agree with JackBear though, using DVD2XBOX and craxtion, or CXboxTool, then burning the iso to disc is the most reliable/easiest way. _________________

justmake sure you are not trying to put the iso file in there, bc iso's can't be read off the xbox hd. U need to just put the folder in there by using what else....DVD2xbox. It is better with dvd's than with games.
