Alright, so at my old house, I could ftp to my xbox no problems. At my new house, network has a different router and xbox has different ip address, I cant ftp to it when evox is the running dashboard. I get a 502 permission error.
When I load avalaunch, and that is my running dashboard, I can ftp to and from it with no problems.
Anyone have an idea why I can no longer ftp with evox running?

That is strange, I was first thinking that there may be a config scenerio in your evox ini file in regard to your IP address, but a permission error is just flat out strange.
DJB I bet would know this one being the network junkie/guru he is.
The good news is at least you can still FTP until it's resolved...thank god for avalaunch.
Try to think, what is avalaunch doing that evox isn't. Man, bizarre. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Yeah this ones got me confused. I know that avalaunch is more friendly to ftping and patching, but I had never had a problem with evox before. Oh well I'll play with it and see if DJB can help me out. _________________ XBOX v1.0:

Usually it you want to FTP to your Xbox the Static IP is preffered, because DHCP just issues the next free IP Address, meaning it's not nessecarily always the same.
For Example, my home network consists of this:
192.168.0.100 - ADSL Modem / 4-Port Switch / Router
192.168.0.1 - My Main Machine
192.168.0.2 - My Xbox
192.168.0.3 - PC out in the Dining Room
192.168.0.4 - Spare Port
Here is a small checklist of things that come to my mind that might solve your prob:
* Check your FTP Program on your PC alongside your evox.ini Settings (IP, Subnet, Gateway, and DNS Addresses)
* Re-Install Evox (might be a bug somwhere or somehow)
* Re-Install Windows (Last resort, but it can and has been a problem)
If all this fails, I'm stumped mate.
Let me know how you go...
