hi apollopimp,

the .xbe has already been compiled so there is no way to decompile and recompile it dude.. Well not that i know of.. I wish..

The only thing maybe you could do is go through the .xbe file using a HEX editor like HEX WORKSHOP and see if you can find anything relating to the system link options..

thats about it.. I remember in the early days i used to go looking for hex code in the default.xbe of some games so i could get them to work off the hdd.. Well that was before all the patching tools came out.

hope thats the info which you may need.,

its just not that simple dude.
You are way over your head by the sounds of it..

A hex editor will still display some text from the code of the .xbe.. You have to know yourself what your looking for.

hex is something you don't just mess with. the only times i've used hexing was to change headers on halo maps, and or change messages for it like.

Picked up an Assault Rifle
to
Pickedl up an SMG........or what ever.
