OK ppl,

Here's how to properly seed (host) a Torrent for the autoinstaller.

Tools needed:
Azureus (Requires Java)- http://azureus.sourceforge.net/
Sun Java 2 (or equivilent) - http://www.java.com

  • Download the Auto-Installer from the VIP Section.

  • Grab this file here: http://www.xbox-hq.com/torrents/xbhqai11bt.zip

  • Extract the archive, now you should have a "Xbox-Hq EvoX Auto-Installer 1.1" Folder, and inside that these two files, "xbhqai11 readme.nfo" and "xbhqai11 readme too.txt"

  • Put the downloaded auto-installer (xbhqai11.zip) into this folder, so you have the 2 readme files and the auto-installer in the same directory.

  • Copy / Move the "Xbox-Hq EvoX Auto-Installer 1.1" Folder to a place on your hard drive where it can be shared.

  • Download the torrent from here: http://www.xbox-hq.com/torrents/xbox/auto-installers/Xbox-Hq_EvoX_Auto-Installer_v1.1.torrent

  • Install Java then Azureus, in that specific order.

  • Open Azureus, then click on File -> Open -> .torrent file (for seeding)

  • It will now ask for a torrent, so open the torrent you just downloaded

  • Now it will ask for the path where it is, this is where you point it to the "Xbox-Hq EvoX Auto-Installer 1.1" folder. It says save path but don't worry, as it's a seed it won't get changed.

  • Now you should be ready to go...

Why do it like this?

The reason why is I shared a folder on Azureus, so the structure is like this:

Xbox-Hq EvoX Auto-Installer v1.1\
Xbox-Hq EvoX Auto-Installer v1.1\xbhqai11.zip
Xbox-Hq EvoX Auto-Installer v1.1\xbhqai11 readme.nfo
Xbox-Hq EvoX Auto-Installer v1.1\xbhqai11 readme too.txt

If the share isn't the same I don't think the seeding will work, that's why I've been specific in writing this post.

Anyways let me know if there are any probs...
