I just installed "Slayer" and now I want to go on x-box live. My question is: Is there any way that I can retrieve my XBL info from my backup or at least the little dashboard that is the "info retrieal". I don't want to have to resign all up again. I'm afraid that might charge again or might put up a red flag, so to speak. How or what would I have to do? Thanx in advance!

Do you still have the stock hard drive in your Xbox?? Am a little confused to whether or not you just installed a larger hard drive or if you have a brand new mod.
If you installed a larger hard drive on a machine that has already been on Xbox Live, and you login to Xbox Live you will most likely be banned unless you took some counter measures that a lot of us are not aware of.

It was a the stock hard drive which had already been on XBL. I had just installed the mod chip about a week ago & just to install slayers. The problem was when I tried to go to xbl, with chip off of course, I didn't have the option to recover my account. I resolved the problem already. Since I had backed up drive C, I was able to transfer back the settings of the dashboard to where I had the option to recover the account using Flashfxp. Is there a way to save your account to your hard drive so I will never have to recover it again. It took us some time to do this since everything has to be put in exactly. We kept getting an error. Here my wife left out here middle initial, something she never does.

You can back it up on a memory card.
