If I am looking correctly, it seems this chip has flash bios installed. This would be on bank 1.
Then, you could follow these instructions:
How to use FlashBIOS:
Step 1 - Creating the Bios CD:
- Ensure that the bios file you wish to use of an appropriate size for your modchip. ( 512KB in this case)
- Make a copy of the bios file you wish to use and rename this copy to BIOS.BIN .
- Select a CD or DVD media compatible with your XBox's DVD-Rom. (Most CDRW will work and most DVD-R will work. If you have a Samsung Drive then some CD-R will work)
- Burn the BIOS.BIN file onto a CD. (For Nero select the following settings, No Multisession, ISO Level 1, Format Mode 1, ISO 9660, Deselect Joliet, Finalize CD, Disc-At-Once)
- You should add a dummy file to the CD to ensure it is read properly by the XBOX. We recommend 100MB.
Step 2 - Flashing with FlashBIOS (Cromwell):
- Turn your XBox console ON, when the DVD-Rom tray ejects please insert your BIOS.BIN CD and close the tray.
- When the flashing procedure is complete the XBox will shut down.
Hope this information will point you in the right direction. I have never used these chips before so I had to gather some info, I hope I got the right info for you.

Hiya only the very new (white) version of the DuoX2 has flashbios, If you have a blue modchip then you will have X2 4983 on one bank and evox M8 on the other.
You can flash it in evox but no need unless you have a HD larger than 137GB and not all the space is showing up.
These chips are real good as long as you have the hash codes in evox.ini for the 3 different flash chips they use (AMD, Fujitsu and Hyundai).
If you have the white chip then follow modgods instruction, if not evox or another flash app is the only way to flash it.
personally I boot of the bios, then flip the switch thru the side of the case so it flashes the bank that does not work.
have a look at duomodchip.com

also ... the white cromwell flash chips that you get in us or canada have a new version of flash bios on bank 2 , bank 1 also has flash bios but it only gives you an option to flash it from cd , if you flip the switch you will have an option to do a network flash , flash from cd or from the harddrive ,
it was a real pain in the ass trying to get the bios cd to work ,
so i decided to check out what was on the other bank of the chip ,
and there it was ...all the extra options , i did a network flash ,
took only a few seconds and worked perfectly , no need for bios cd headache _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

Hi
.I flash all my Duos with M8plus_16FC137 for 1.6 and M8plusFC137 for 1.1-1.5
The duo is a great chip a little expensive for what you get. The idea of a dula bios is coll but you only really use one.
Unless you do this neat trick. remove the switch from the board and mount an external switch. You can now flash with 2 512K bios and select between the two of them.

the flash bios should allready be on your chip,
it runs when you power up the xbox with the chip installed ,
what version is your xbox ?
if its 1.0 -1.5 then use evox.m8plus.137.bin if its 1.6 use evox.m8plus.16.137.bin _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

Another good way of flashing any chips is to use a spare hd. This is how I flash all my chips
On a spare hd drive use an installer with flash from hard drive built in eg firefuckers
Update the evox.ini file with all flash types. This may sound conplex to noobies but really it is dead simple. What you do is get an ftp connection happening transfer evox.ini from your xbox to your pc. Open the evox.ini file with notepad insert the text file attached(i have attached a list of pretty well all the flash types). You see will down near the bottom of the ini file a section with "Flash = 0xbf61,"SST 49LF020",0x40000" this is the flash types. Delete all with "Flash = " and replace with my text file. Save changes and ftp to the xbox hard drive. You now have a hard drive that can flash pretty well any chip.
FTP all youir bios into C/Bios
Each time you chip an xbox test it with your flash hard drive
Flash chip with your custom bios from hard drive
I have around 25 bios on my flash hdd. It saves me keeping a heap of cd's and remaking one each time I want to add a new bios or a new flashtype to my inventory.
If you think this requires a more detailed tutorial let me know and I will be happy to make one.

I have the DuoX Cromwell,
and when I put it on Bank 1 (FlashBIOS), the screen stays black and the red light on the eject button goes on. It's not booting any buckups yet(haven't flashed it yet). If I flash in Linux Cromwell (Bank 0) using m8 1.6 BIOS (I have a v1.6 XBOX) will it boot my backups?
