I was thinking of buying some El tape, where would be a good place to buy a strip?? Also, does it come with an a/c adapter or some kind of splitter cable? _________________ Xbox V1.3

It depends on who you get it from. People will configure it differently. In most cases, it at least has one molex connector leaving you needing to buy a splitter. Then, of course you would also have to purchase an adapter to plug in the wall if you don't want to use a splitter and power up with your HD power connector.
It's tough to find good vendors. I used to sell El Tape for the use as an underglow effect, but I had so many problems with the company selling it. They always screwed up my orders, big time. The last time I dealt with them I ordered one Red Kit and got five blue kits and a bunch of other shit!! That was the last straw. They were just to unreliable.
Believe it or not, you can actually find El Tape at CompUSA. But as far as other places, you can try : http://www.elwirecheap.com/eltape.html but I had bad experience there too. I bought El Wire from this goober and both times it didn't work. I took apart the one and fixed it myself, his customer support is worthless.
If you do a google search on El Tape you get a butt load of results. You can also try on Ebay. Good luck.
