hi kehoe,
Im not positive that this is your problem but give it a try..
FTP into your xbox on your E:\ partion.. Go into the UDATA and TDATA folders and see if you can see anything relating to MAME... If you find files or folders with the name mame in them just delete them..
These files are temporary settings for the emulator and could be causing your xbox to be looking for files in the front spot..
I found 1 folder with MAMEOX and deleted it but it still doesn't work. I have tried a few other emulators from this site and they don't work either. They simply reboot my evox. The other emulators that don't work are KAWA, fceu (all versions), and the sc3 (both) versions). However, nester x worked and surrealx worked (problem with the roms but it works).

if your evox is rebooting then the file is either corrupt or your not linking to it correctly.. Is your evos using the autoadd option?
Or are all your emulators hard coded into your menu?
Yuo will have to open your 'evox.ini' and paste it into the forum reply.
let me know
Looks to be self installed option. Here is the evox 2.6 ini code
Section "Self Installed Emulators"
{
Line "- Emulators on Hard Drive -",2
AutoAddItem "f:\Apps\Emulators\"
SortAll
}
Hope this helps with any ideas. I'm still learning

Hi,
ok.. thats fine..
If its picking up your emulators then they are obviously in the right folder on your xbox..
What i would do is delete the entire folder you are having a problem with. Then reinstall..
Are you using the XBOXHQ Autoinstaller to install your apps and dashboards?? If not i would download and give it a try.. Its the best Auto Installer there is with all the latest apps and emus etc.
