Hi. Just re-found my xbox and have had some great fun playing with it today.
It is chipped with an xecuter2 and has the XBMC dashboard. I remember putting this on just before I stored the machine in the loft for around 4 years, before that I had Evolutionx running.
I really want to go back to something like Evolutionx as I have no intention to use the machine as any kind of media centre. I do want to keep all the games I have installed onto the HDD and remove XBMC and change the dashboard to something less media orientated.
Now as it is has been years since I delved into this I dont really want to learn all the irc channels again and find my way around.
Is there anything you guys can point me to that is as simple and non destructive as it gets??
I intend to use the xbox with my 5 year old and get him into gaming

Is the AID disc the answer to my problem???
Not heard of unleashx but as it has evox also and is a disc I presume you boot the xbox from this could be what I need...
Can anyone answer me if I change the dashboard via the AID disc will it leave all my installed games intact and untouched??
AID is probably your best option, you can change your dash to whatever you want be it UnleashX, EvolutionX or Avalaunch with a couple of button clicks .... depending on your xbox being chipped or softmodded follow the relevant sections in AID to do the job. _________________

Finally managed to download AID after encountering issues with safari on mac.
Used the disc and at first after installing evo x dash it would not boot up, just re-booted over and over
So I tried the modchip one click install and again selected the evo x and agian constant reboot
This time I tried unleashx and hurrah it ruddy worked
Can live with Unleashx and I am very happy, thanks for your help

Trust me, you'll like unleashX better than EvoX anyways _________________
