Hi all,
Apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong place. I've only recently softmodded my xbox using Krayzie 1.1.
I've then used AIDv452 to install Surreal64 and some skins onto a softmodded xbox running unleashX 0.38.
After restarting the machine I could only see about 8 skins 'Jexx' ones mainly and some 'colour blocks', if I use File Explorer I can see all the directories for the skins (simpsons etc) in the skins folder but they're not available as options through skins.
At first I thought that because my dash was outdated. The rar files for the skins in the Add-Ons folder to build the iso were labelled unleashedX 4.3, so I figured that I needed to upgrade to unleashX 4.3. However am I right in saying that the latest version of unleashX is .39? I think I've now realised that the 4 is probably meant as 'for'. At least it prompted me to upgrade to the latest version.
So...I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out with why these skins aren't showing and to get them showing.
I can also see an evoX.dbe file and some others in the root of the E drive that I think were installed by AID at the time of installing the skins, does that sound right? If so I'd like to get rid of them, I'd like the install be as clean as possible before adding in apps etc. Would I be able to just delete these files if I'm not interested in using evoX?
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me with this, stoked there's still such a great scene around xbox1 modding.
Hello,
As a test, can you extract the contents of the skin addon pack and FTP the simpsons folder to the UnleashX skin folder on the E/ partition ?
The evox.xbe file is probably the default.xbe file for UnleashX (unless you previously had evolutionx installed as a dash) Its best not to delete that.

Cool, thanks for the suggestion I'll give that a shot.
