Hmmm ... Are you 100% sure its softmodded ? - Just to be certain, run the Bios Checker app on the AID disc and see if it reports anything.
(it could have been softmodded to perform a TSOP flash) _________________
ive also just tried using the AID disc going into advanced dashboard selection using e drive dash (xbmc then loads) i then went to t3ch updater and tried that way but still no good, just about to format prepare again and see how i get on.
Just found d: drive with aid4 on it what should i do with this??
OK, I think its previously been softmodded to run unsigned code so you can do a TSOP flash (that is flashing the original xbox bios with a hacked bios - the Evo v2.4 - this does everything a Mod chip does but without installing a Chip - its sort of `in between` a softmod and modchip).
The Evo v2.4 is an old bios, i reckon if you update it your problems will disappear and installing stuff will be a breeze (dont worry, if im wrong, attempting to update your bios wont harm anything, it just wont work, lol)
What version xbox is it ? .... if its a v1.0 or v1.1 you need a 1024kb bios file, if its a v1.2 to v1.5 you need a 256kb bios. Theres various methods to flash it, you could use the AID iso updater and include the `bios pack addon` to your AID disc and flash that way, or if you have Splinter Cell or 007 AUF theres a game save exploit i put together that you could use, or you could flash it through the EvolutionX dashboard.
Post back if you need help on any of those options. _________________
Thanks for your help youve been a star but ive worked it out on c drive i tried launching evoxdash and xbmc loaded so i renamed evoxdash to xboxdash and xboxdash to evoxdash and all is fine.
