I would say get the new XBMC Installer Deluxe v1.0 and reinstall using that.
Make sure to remove the INI file you put in your E drive since it might not be an X2 chip.
If you can post a pic of the chip.

heres some pics of the chip. if u can help me identify it thats great. i should mention that using any of the one click installs does the same thing. its not just the xbmc one. it will just boot to the regular ms dash. if i leave the disc in then go to file managment i can select a app to run then it will work. im wondering if maybe i have a bad burn on the disc possibly. i only have dual layers left so i will buy some regular verbatim dvd-rs tommorow

Yeah thats the Xecuter 2 Pro, try using the BIOS check on the AID disk in the advanced options and see if that will tell us your BIOS.

Both will work fine and when you have the flash protection off you can use the AID BIOS flash tool to do the work for you.

ok i got it working but to be honest i have no clue what i did. i was getting fed up with it so u decided to put everything back to the way it was when i bought it. before i wiped it out i ftped everything to my pc. anyway it booted up to evox and i clicked on update bios and there were a few choices. i just picked the first one and it updated it. then i formatted and did the 1 click xbmc install and it worked. it appears i have bios evox d6 bios.should i just leave it the way it is now or should i replace it with the
x2 5035 bios?? thx again i was ready to give up on this one. and were can i get the aid bios updater because im sure its not on aid4.5.

If it works fine just use it and if you do want to do the better BIOS then your AID download should have the add on packs and a guide telling you step by step how to add them.
