FYI: evoxdash.xbe should be Installed when you Install XBMC if you chose to Install on E:/Partition it will copy it to the other Partitions. _________________ Support A Hard Modder!

ok... so i'm pretty lost and I think maybe i should start over with my explination and maybe start over with installing everything
I have evox running (which allows me to bring up the aid disk) However i can't bring up the evox dashboard. When i launch evox it just brings up the retail dash (with evox symbol in top left corner)
I did not do the one-click install because i didn't want to loose my profiles and game completions for the games i own. Is this something i HAVE to do?
If i have to do this, and it formats C:, is there anyway to pull that information off the xbox (by accessing C: on my computer, where do i find this information?) so that i may pull it off and save it on my computer. so that i can put it back onto the xbox after i format the hdd during the one-click install.
Sorry for all the confusion lol I'm an electronic engineer, not a software engineer. install was easy breezy

If all your trying to keep from loosing is your game saves i would back up the Udata folder in E and rebuild the HDD then just FTP the Udata (aka game saves) back to you E drive.

ah ok, so my profiles for halo and stuff are on E:...i was looking for them on C:
I have Evox installed on C: but when i go to run it the xbox just restarts and restarts...and restarts, never bringing up the dash. If i put the aid disk in between restarts i can bring up the aid menu and then uninstall evox dash from the C: (but leaving the bin file behind) I can start the evox bin file but it just brings up the regular ms dashboard with the logo "Evox" in the left hand top corner
Heres a list of the files I have on C: (just the main level, this does not include the files in folders) if this helps...

Sounds like your using the chip install, if you use the softmod dash install for evox it should put all the files in the E drive so it will launch evox on boot.

thanks, i'll figure it out... here's two other things i can't figure out though
Question 1) I can't get halo editor to work it is installed and i can run the app, but when it first starts up it gives two options
NTSC (f:\Games\halo\default.xbe)
DISK (d:\default.xbe)
If i select the first one, the screen goes dark and then i'm dumped back into the aid menu. It never lets me into the place where i can make changed to halo units.
The second "disk" one i inserted myself by modifying the config file...by following the instructions on the HCE readme included with the AID download.
* Give the correct paths to your halo xbe
(you can use D:\default.xbe but then you need a bios that doesn't reboot on eject)
However when i type this in and then save. The file gets changed to D:\default.xbeefault.xbe. And when i click on it the screen goes dark for a second and then unleashx starts up (which i loaded instead of evolution)
Does anyone know why it's doing this?
Question 2) I installed XDSL, which i've gotten to work great. (Still accessing this through the file manager on the aid cd) But when i go to hulu.com i'm greated with a message that says I must have Flash v9 installed....so i click on the link and go try to install it. But i can't seem to get it to work.
This is the install options it gives me, but when i download and try to open, each of them does not respond to the open click
tar.gz for linux
.rpm for linux
YUM for linux
Any ideas?

Its in the rules that we cant help with HALO editing (sorry) but for the XDSL and streaming video what are the minimum system requirements to run that?

hmm well that stinks about halo. What's so bad about trying to spice things up alittle bit by adding an extra gun to a tank so you can blow your buddy out of a wraith easier during multiplayer. *sigh* i'll have to find a solution
About the requirements...This is what i was able to find on their site...
To enjoy videos at Hulu, you will need the following software installed on your computer:
Internet Explorer 6.0 or above, Firefox 1.5 or above, or Safari 2.0 or above
JavaScript and Cookies must also be enabled.
Adobe Flash Player 9.0 or above
Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Microsoft Windows Vista, Macintosh OS X, or Linux
In addition, you will need an internet connection with sufficient bandwidth. Our videos stream at 480Kbps or 700Kbps, and we'll adjust our stream based on your bandwidth, but we recommend a downstream bandwidth of 1000Kbps or higher for the smoothest playback experience. You can test your downstream bandwidth at many websites. Search for "bandwidth test" on the web to find many of the most popular bandwidth test websites.
I was able to find system requirements for adobe on their website...
For Linux®
Modern processor (800MHz or faster)
512MB of RAM, 128MB of graphics memory
Linux Platform Browser
Only Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) is supported (OSS/ESD will not play audio; audio will silently fail). Only GTK2-based browser versions are supported.
Red Hat® Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 3 update 8, RHEL 4 update 4 (AS/ES/WS) Firefox 1.5.0.7 or later, Mozilla 1.7.x or later, SeaMonkey 1.0.5 or later
Novell SUSE™ 9.x or 10.1 Firefox 1.5.0.7 or later, Mozilla 1.7.x or later, SeaMonkey 1.0.5 or later
Whatcha guys think?

I don't know man i been looking around and have seen nothing but requests for someone to port it over but nothing on how to, i will keep looking but you might want to hit up XBMC scripts and request some one to build it.
