Hello,
I just installed SID 5.01 on a freshly formated xbox (using xboxhdm) with the 5960 dashboard. I chose the "hacked dash / sid menu" and "virtual c + eeprom for hd" options, and installed unleashx. When I boot with closed tray everything seems ok (boots into unleashx, and I can access the SID menu from there). If I boot with the open tray button I get a red LED (expected) but a blank screen instead of the SID menu.
I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod and the same thing happens. I checked the FAQ on the PDF but it only refers to blank screens with the retail mode, which isn't my case. A forum search also didn't produce any useful results (but I might have missed something...).
What's causing this and how can I fix it?
Thanks in advance!

That's funny because one of my boxes does the same thing. It's no big deal to me really. I just power on when the tray is closed and open it once Unleash has loaded to see it recognize the disc. I don't mind it, but if there is a fix so I don't have to redo the softmod, then I'll try it, but otherwise, I can live with it. Seems like I might have to reinstall to fix it though. _________________

Thanks for the replies.
I'm not sure how to unmount the virtual C. I've checked the menus and manual and found nothing about it. The uninstall worked fine though and when I reboted afterwards got the retail MS dash.

I just tried installing dual boot with "hacked dash + ms dash" and it works fine, so the problem seems to be only with the SID menu. I don't need the original dash, so maybe it's best to go with a single boot mode? Or is there a way to fix the dual boot?
Before rebuilding the HD I used to have an old SID version on dual boot and it worked, the problem seems to affect only the more recent ones.
