Just wondering if someone can help me, it's been years since I softmodded my xbox and upgraded it with a 120GB Seagate Drive, everything is working ok, I just want to wipe everything on the drive and start from the beginning, reinstalling everything from scratch on the hdd.
Cheers. _________________ Crystal Xbox PAL V1.4/V1.5 (Focus VideoChip)????

Ok, all you'll need is a copy of both SID and AID (softmod installer and auto-installer deluxe). SID will perform the initial softmod for you using the exploits of your chosen game.
Do you still have the exploit game save files on your memory card ready for a new softmod?

I can probably get the original files on a memoryu stick again, I used the splinter cell method, I thought there may have just been an option on either the AID or SID to format the HDD and rebuild it. _________________ Crystal Xbox PAL V1.4/V1.5 (Focus VideoChip)????

Did you make a backup before you modded? _________________

There is such an option available mate, and as long as you have AID you'll be able to perform this without a hitch. Just make you have everything ready to softmod before you do and you'll be fine. You can format, then resoftmod. You'll have a nice new sparkly Xbox HDD ready to go. Always worth making sure you have a backup of your C, E and eeprom beforehand too, just in case.
