i've finally found the option where you can browse through the hundreds of visualisations, but when i select one, it changes 10secs later to something random. I saw in the options you can extend that time to 1min but what if i just dont want it to skip? Can i set it so i select the visualisation (e.g glowsticks) and it'll hold there?

When the visualisation is running hit the Y button and select the one you want there and i will stick on that one.

1st question: I've read this on another forum:
Quote:
Yes, but they need to be in their own bookmark and you have to set the content to TV Shows (use the tv.com scraper). Also, it is a little picky on the filenames. It'll find the episodes if they look like this:
24/Season 4/24.401.hdtv-lol.[BT].avi
Entourage/Season 2/Entourage s02e01 - The Boys are Back.avi
Dexter/Season 1/Dexter - 0101 - HR.HDTV - Dexter.avi
Rome/Season 2/Rome - s02e01 - hrhd - Passover.avi
The Wire/Season 1/the.wire.s01e01 - The Target.avi
Weeds/Season 1/Weeds.S01E01.HR.HDTV.AC3.5.1.XviD-CTU.avi
etc.
It won't find them if they look like this though:
24/Season 4/401.hdtv-lol.[BT].avi
Entourage/Season 2/201 - The Boys are Back.avi
but i'm having trouble trying this, does it only work if the media is on the xbox drive itself or does library mode work from a streaming network/pc drive?
When i try scanning etc it just doesnt seem succesful, nothing changes, the file naming looks ok, the xbox is connected to the internet

lol, i dont mean the view or the skin, i'm on about the icons and episode info
i'm trying to set up all my tv shows so they look that neat, the scraper is tough to work with, i'm trying to find a naming system that will work everytime with it

well i'm making progress with the library mode thing, i've found it much easier to rename my files than to add rules to the tvshowcasting thing
it automatically adds wide icons so i'll go with those, but might replace them with DVD icons later
i always wondered why tvshow filenames were so wierd and untidy. i wish avi had tags like mp3

What is your dvr box?
i've found a naming system that works now so its coming along, still kicking myself for not doing this a couple of years ago, i could have really done with this last year.

If you haven't figured out how to get your visualisation to stick to one yet press the back button a lil bar should pop up across the top and there should be a lil picture of a lock beside the visualisation name in that bar which means its locked. _________________
