Well, I don't know about you, but I love Star Wars. I also love Lego (even though I'm a tiny bit old for it). So together, Lego Star Wars II has all the makings to be an excellent game and it doesn't disappoint.Following the storyline of the original trilogy, this game is the sequel to the already hugely popular Lego Star Wars.
It follows our little Lego heroes such as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia do battle with the evil Empire, led by Darth Vader and The Emperor.This game really does have it all, excellent gameplay, interactivity, wide varied landscapes taken from the original films and a great 2 player option. There's something about watching a Lego Yoda jumping around weilding a lightsaber that just seems to fill me with happiness. Controls are responsive and the combat system remains intact from the first game. This new edition comes with a new feature, the ability for characters without the force to construct equipment, a feature lacking from the first title.
The real fun element of this game lays in the 2 player option. Now you and a friend can take to the skys in your speeders, or battle the dark forces with your lightsabers! It really is a multiplayer game designed for an audience bigger than just your average kid, it'll appeal to everyone. Personally the game is near perfect for me. A few of the bonus missions are a bit monotomous and boring which sadly lets the game down slightly. Other than that, its a must have!!
