Help, I have a 1.1 xbox with the duoX2 white mod chip, I cant figure out how to make a bios disk, does anyone have a ISO file that I can get, Im trying to put evoX on it. It has cromwell 2.3 on bank 0 and flashbios 3.0.3 My M$ dash wont load either comes up with error 05. Need help, thanks.

Sounds like your xbox HDD isnt locked...
If your getting a ERROR 05 it normally means that your xbox is not locked!!
Service Error 05:
Info: Your Xbox Harddrive is not locked. A retail BIOS needs a locked Harddrive. You will receive this error only when turning off your modchip and booting to the retail M$ Dashboard.
Solution: Use "ConfigMagic" to lock/unlock the Harddisk ("ConfigMagic" can be found on the "HQ Auto Installer Deluxe Installer" ISO).

Look for the Xbox-HQ Bios CD Pack or something like that in the VIP DOWNLOADS area.. It has all the bioses you want..
Once you find out which bios to use for your modchip you can then burn the bios.bin file to a CDRW or DVD-R and flash your modchip from the XBOX DVDROM drive..
Once you have done that you can then boot the AUto Installer Deluxe (http://www.aid.xbox-hq.com) and install whatever dashboard you like as well as over 65+ dashboards, apps, emulators etc etc..
So, basically your strategy is this..
1. Download a bios for your modchip and XBOX VERSION (probably EVOX M8 bios)
2. Flash your BIOS on the modchip
3. Burn Auto Installer Deluxe to a DVD-R or CDRW (better on DVD)
4. Boot in your XBOX with the modchip turned on and the bios selected.
Thats it.. A menu will appear and you can install whatever you like.
That helps, but I cant actually get the AID to download, not sure if Im doing it right or not. Not to familiar to FTP type stuff. I will try that idea about the bios cd though.
Never mind about the not being able to download part. I got it going now. My MOD Chip currently has flashbios 3.0.3 will AID 2 work with that? I really am a newb to xbox modding, and this kind of work. But Im bound and determend to make it work. Thanks again for all your help.

heres basically what you are going to be doing..
1. Flash your bios with a hacked bios..
Im not sure but look to see if anyone suggests the M8 bios for your modchip.. I think thats the one you want.
2. Download and unrar the .rar files of Auto Installer DEluxe until you have a .iso file on your pc..
3. Burn the aid2.iso file to a CDRW or better a DVD-R and boot in your xbox with your modchip turned on and flashed..
4. It should boot first go.. If not try another brand of DVD-R and burn the aid2.iso again.. As long as your modchip is flashd with a hacked bios (for your modchip) you will be able to boot AID and do everything you want.
AID has 65+ apps, dashboards and emulators on the one dvd..
It helps especially when your new..
You can then change your DASHBOARD to whatever you choose. EVOX, XBMC etc etc.. Really the rest is up to you.
Once you can boot the AIDeluxe that means you xbox can boot any backups, dashboards etc etc..

hiya i've done the same apart fomr i got the disc i need and i put them in and it doesnt want to load the discs at all any ideas i cant even flash the bios i think
