Now I want to Upgrade the HardDrive, but I'm having some troubles, I tryed this tutorial about a year ago and I couldn't get the cd I burned to install on the new HardDrive, It just kept on freezing.
Im useing this HardDrive for my xbox HD Upgrade, I used it for my PC awhile ago, I wiped the whole HD from all its files awhile ago, so brand new pretty much.
I also burned the AID 3.10 to a dvd disc, Im just stuck on what to do next, I searched for a few tutorials on how to upgrade it but not sure whats the best/easyer to do. Any Suggestions?

The best way to go is using Xboxhdm....
Ftp your C, E Drives and eeprom to your comp then make a Xboxhdm disc and build a new HDD.... _________________

I think thats the method I tryed, When I burned the ISO, I plugged in the new HDD as a master drive and booted up with the cd, but it froze in the process of installing it.

did you get to chose option 1...?
if you got that far try using option 2 and do it that way instead... _________________

look in E:\UDATA\21585554\000000000000\
then it's the eeprom.bin file mate that is the real eeprom file you need.... _________________

Try the 3rd one down on the left.... (looking at that pic)
What did you soft mod it with ..? (the first time) _________________
Alright, I Ftp'd the C:\ and E:\ folders to \xboxhdm\linux\ and my eeprom.bin to \xboxhdm\linux\eeprom\ then i ran the \xboxhdm\make-iso-win.bat
Burned the ISO to a cd, go into the menu, typed 1 (vga) and it was processing for like 3 seconds, then turned to a black screen.
Restarted my computer, pressed 2 (text) and it put up lots of text on my screen scrolling then froze.
I sat on both frozen screens for 30 mins, this is the same thing that happen to me last time i tryed to upgrade my HDD. Does anybody know what the problem is?
And does my xbox have to be softmodded in order to make the bootable cd? or should my xbox HDD be on stock settings? (no softmod)
