Hey DJB, that is where I got the complete ACL list...so far I uploaded it to the normal download section since for some reason I cannot upload to VIP. I cannot even FTP and just add link. I PM'd forahobby and hopefully I can get a fix for that soon as I have a ton of mame roms that I want to contribute. I also have a compiled version of mame too.
The complete list unfortunately doesn't tell you what each file is for. I imagine you just add them and then see if your game works. Otherwise, I can probably look at the most popular games individually and post in the forum. I think that is a good idea, can just keep a running list. The files you need to patch have the XBE file extension (usually default.xbe). this is usually in the root folder of your game. If there are multple xbe files there, patch them all just to be safe...

Sorry, I forgot to talk to forahobby about that section while he was over today, but obviously we had more serious issues. I'll try to talk to him again tonight about it, but I'm sure he'll be happy with the idea of making a new section. VIP or all access?? Hm, will talk to him about that too...

the game is crimson skys btw but on ill try patching them is thier a patch file i will need??

just your normal media fix patch should do it, grab c-xboxtool 2 it has a patcher in it...

Yea I've seen this site before, it even has ACLs that you can load into Dvd2Xbox to make games smaller.
It takes a little while longer to process a game, but it checks out it's ACL then determines what files don't need to be copied...
