You could always make it so that future versions require a serial key which you can only get by joining the site?
That way you could make one of the joining conditions that you may not sell on any site the software without the authors permisiion so should it appear on ebay they WOULD be breaking a copyright law.
Maybe a daft idea....

I sent a question to one of the sellers, asking about the original of the AID. He sent a reply.... "?????? Dont Know what your talking about ??????". He revised the auction... now the title AND description is just one word "Xbox" and the starting bid price is 10,000 quid! That's nearly US$20,000!
