For the Temp issue you see the same thing on old AMD PCs (Athlon64, Sempron, pre Phenom days) You have 2 sources for Temp readings. Theres a physical thermometer on the MOBO and you also have the software based calculator in the BIOS. 9 times out of 10 the MOBO temp will be the most accurate. You would have to look at the release docs I cant remember if UnleashX uses MOBO or software for temping. But that is why you see a disparity.

I don't remember seeing reference to that in UX's release notes but then I wasn't looking for it.
Interesting explanation that would certainly explain the disparity.
My gut would tell me XBMC uses the sensor reading and UX/EvoX calculate it simply because I know what sort of heat a device supposedly running at 60C actually feels like.
I had a Dell laptop notorious for running hot reporting temperatures at very much the same level and using the same size fan as the Xbox. That fan would be going at full speed most of the time and you could use the hot air output as a hair drier if so minded.
The Xbox's exhaust temperature, even at minimum fan speed, doesn't ever come close to that.
