Oh ok, so they hard wired the pin header instead of inserting the pin header. If unplugged it and plugging it back in didn't fix it, then I would look at the wires. Make sure that all of the wires soldered into the LPC port are all still making a good connection.

are you talking about checking from the board to the chip connectors with an ohm meter for continuity or a certain amount of resistance

he means check the wire to the LPC, which is where they connect on the motherboard of the xbox.

small board in front with four switches led on or off, chip enable , flash protect, and bank 1 or2, the picture of the chip shows the board with the switches on it

I replaced the chip with a new one just like it same problem does any one have this kind of problem or had this problem before

Yes it is a PC running Linux, the frag you have ware it turns on and off 3 times can be from so many things that its hard to say why your getting it.

Any brake in a board trace or even the smallest bit of solder splash can give you the tipple frag. Sad
