using xbconnect is easy. just download xbconnect from xbconnect.com and hook up your xbox to your router. in the program theres a list of games and rooms people made. click on one of the games you want to play and on your xbox go to system link and join that game. hope this helps. later _________________ XBOX

Please if possible, try and keep all non-related issues out of this post. I've noticed it a few times now and overlooked it, but I'll say something now.

There has been talk amongst myself, forahobby, and sjohn aobut adding some files related to softmods. For this to happen I'll have to push the release date back, so I can also test this (I'm getting 007 Agent Under Fire soon so I"ll softmod myself).
Sorry for ppl that are anxious to sink their teeth into this, but I'm only trying to make it better all-round for everyone.

Apology accepted mate. It's not a big deal as such, but I'd really like to keep this thread dedicated to this.
As of yet I'm not 100% sure what I'm adding as far as softmods concerned, but you won't be able to fully softmod your xbox with thiis due to the fact it's not a legit xbox dvd and can't be read on a standard bios.
Hopefully sjohn (hopefully you're reading mate, hehe) could make a small post of the files that softmodders could really use in this installer, so I can start planning the install script additions (ie: updating certain things like BFM BIOS etc.).
This project is even beating my own expectations now, but I still wanna push just that little bit more...

Xbox Connect runs from your PC, you don't need any Xbox software for it.
Theres another one called x-link but I'm not too sure what's needed in that...

Hm, weird. I double-checked the avi file I have for seeding, and it's not bugged. Also, a friend of mine downloaded it tonight to have a look and he had no problems.
It sounds like it's a PC problem of some sort, unless anyone else has had problems (please speak up if so).
Apart from that, can't really help ya much more, sorry..

Also, it's using 24bit video. Dunno if that is the cause of the problem. I kept the original format to try and preserve quality.

It is working fine for me. No problems either at home or here at work. Both are PC's with XP Pro. One an Intel chip and one an AMD chip. Again... awesome.. really looking forward to this.. SO MUCH MORE than that "Other" AI. _________________ GTGene

Sorry ghostcorps, must be your PC mate. Try uninstalling xvid, reboot, install again, reboot.
Apart from that make sure you have the latest video drivers for your video card, and make sure you can view 24bit video.
