Hi guys - This is sort of a noob question. But awhile back I did the softmod on my Xbox using the Lifehacker.com instructions (Tom Clancy Splinter Cell and all that.) I didn't really know what I was doing but was able to follow the instructions and got XBMC up and running great. (I LOVE IT BTW!)
But I wanted to upgrade it (it's sort of old now) and install all the great stuff (including skins) that are on XBMC Auto Installer Deluxe. I followed the instructions, burnt the ISO, but when I put it in my XBOX the disc doesn't load. It still always just goes to the weird dashboard thing (where I normally select XBMC from the Applications menu.)
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

If you run XBMC as an APP you can just download the T3CH build and install it.
What kind of DVD are you burning it on?

If i download the T3CH build and install that...does that include all the skins and stuff that XBMC installer deluxe does? If so, yeah maybe this is an easier route.
BTW I burned it to a CD-R rather than a DVD. For some reason I thought I could use either...guess not?!

Depends what DVDROM drive you have in your XBOX.. Most drives have trouble reading/booting from cdr.. Samsungs where great for CDR so you might be lucky!
I burned this to a DVD and it works great now, thanks!!
One more question though, now that I am all installed...if I want to upgrade to the latest versions of everything (including skins and applications) in say 6 months, what is the best way to do that?
Do I need to download AIDeluxe again, burn to DVD again, etc or is there another way?
