By any chance, do you guys know any good places to purchase one of these games? online? I've tried so many different sites, but they either don't have it or it's way too expensive. I'd really appreciate it

I bought mine at a local Gamestop/EB games for 4 bucks. But I did find it on amazon.

Hehe, i actually went out to Eb today, but they only had splinter cell for 99 cents! so i bought it, original box, but when i opened it, it was platinum hits So i returned it.
Anyway thanks, i've tried amazon, and it seems like none of the "cheap" sellers deliver to Canada, it's weird.

Well not as cheap as Amazon seller but this seller states it works as a softmod and will ship to Ca.
Not sure how close otehr EB/gamestops are to you but try calling to nearby towns.
I found a posting about disks
a. Any version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell (NOT PANDORA TOMORROW OR CHAOS THEORY)
b. The original version of 007: Agent Under Fire or the Platinum Hits AUF with the Serial #: 1448517 (NOT 1448527)
c. Mech Assault with the Serial #: MS02301L on the inner ring of the game CD

Oh my, does that mean that a splinter cell (the first one) would work even if it were platinum hits?!?

Anyway, i got it to work! it wasn't the
"mp3 player" as i thought, but it was the game, so i purchased a splinter cell and all is well, thanks a bunch
