If ur XBOX is chipped u could lock it with AID but if ur using softmod it has to be done before u boot up cuz u'll get an error code if not. _________________

Ok man I'm nit sure how much this will help but git it a go.
1. Go to the BIOS setup screen on your PC (it should say press so and so key to go to set up when the PC boots) change Primary Master to manual. If you need to no more let me know.
2. When you try to lock the drive make sure you type lockhd -a so it searches the disk for the EEPROM
3. Make sure the HD is set to master and there are no other drives in the PC other than the disk drive you put xboxhdm in. _________________

ok i got it to go and then had to take it out because the drive failed, I went and got a brand new hard drive and chimp ended up working on it go figure thanks for all the help
