Thanks pezzar and i just want to dub check with you if i walk him by setting the lb4 to F gets 137 and G gets the rest the X-3 will add the 32k cluster for you right?

Okay well are we going to reformat the hard drive which I would prefer to start from scratch?

Yeah ill call and walk you on a scratch start as soon as pezzar fills me in on if the lb4 setting(F gets 137 G gets the rest) and then use install new hdd will set it to 32k clusters for you.

Ok i found the info i need and it looks like the X-3 wont set the 32k for you so we will need to run Xbox partitioner to set up the hdd and set the lb4 to dissable.

Wes, set the bios up for the correct partition settings then boot AID. Use XBPartitioner to set up F and G for 32k clusters. Then install files as normal

Okay well me and Wes reformatted my hard drive and now everything looks like it is working fine again. That is the only problem with going with the bigger hard drives eg: 500gb versus a smaller hard drive is the programs we are using for the modded xbox are not really configured to deal with them. Anyhow thanks again to Wes for helping me out for like the 1000th time.

LOL its what i do reb and thanks pezzar for the help man i guess we will see if its done right when he hits 250 gb on the drive. LOL

actually i do. I have Virtual Server running which runs a SmallBusiness server 2003 (mail and web server) and a clustered SQL server 2005 (testing) amongst other things :wink
