Well lets say your useing avalaunch, you wold go to you settings/ network setting and whare it has static you wold change that to dhcp.
It just means the router wold tell your xbox what its ip will be insted of you putting one in.

Actually I think you're right about it bein EVOX wes cause I got the newest one a few weeks ago (v.3935 I believe) and it wont let me FTP a damn thing, I can connect and everything SOMETIMES, but it wont let me do anything when it does connect. Just a thought. _________________

You can't use a cross over cable with the router. You have to use a through and through cable, not sure the the specific tech terminology is. DCHP is a network setting that sets up IPs on ur network. Basically it'll auto assign an IP for your XBOX. Then u use that IP in FlashFXP. _________________

I use a crossover on my linksys for both xboxes and it works just fine JJ.

I dont know what the deal is but he is the fifth guy who cant get his evox to ftp in the last 2 months, and thay all said thay are useing evox.
Not sure what the deal is but it works for me.

Man I drove myself almost crazy tryin to get it to FTP when I was workin on some skins for evox cause it just wouldn't connect and I'd have to use the in game reset to go back to XBMC over and over to be able to FTP then boot back to Evox to see if the skin was workin yet. I know it wasn't my settings caue they're the same on my XBMC, Avalaunch, and UnleashX that are all on the same box _________________
