it doesnt really matter which client you use. everyone has there own opinion. i myself use Bitcomet, but then again thats me.
When you make your 40 gig hard drive use xbox hdm v 1.9 to make your hard drive to put in your xbox but make sure you softmod your box with SID 5 first to back everything up and get your eeprom and hd key.

It will take awhile to get AID from a torrent. Once you get it though you'll be all set. It does come with SID 5.01 and a nice manual for AID and SID. Plus everything else you will need. _________________

whats the main reason you are wanting your box modded? if you arent worried about saving a bunch of stuff on the hard drive, id just recommend putting a softmod on there, because it is easy and free.
it might be kinda tough getting a chip now in the USA, because the raids on the retailers, alot of them are packing up and not selling anymore.
the way the softmod is set up is that you can apply the exploit to your xbox, and you can also take it off and put the xbox back into the retail state with just a couple of clicks.

The first thing you need to do is mod your xbox. I recomend a softmod because its quick and easy. Plus since you got AID you should also have gotten SID (Softmod Installer Deluxe) 5.1 with it. SID tutorial --> http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-256.html
In order to do a softmod you need and action replay, the action replay software, a memory card, the game you want to use to softmod your box with, and a controller.
The way I made one was instead of using a controller port like in the tutorial, I used an extra breakaway controller connector (dongle). You hook up the USB male end of the usb cord to the round end of the dongle the plugs into the controller cord. I didnt solder my wires either, I just stripped about 1/4 or an inch of insilation off of each wire and wound them together. Then I finished it off with electrical tape. It may look complicted, but the whole process (including making your own action replay and softmodding your box) takes from 15-20 minutes your first time through.
The three games you can use to softmod your xbox are Mechassault ( part # X08 82262), the original splinter cell, or 007 agent under fire Serial #: 1448517 (NOT 1448527). You can get any of these games used for about $2-$5 us.

nope not at all, all you need is a softmodded xbox. a larger hard drive. and dvd2xbox.

Everything I just listed is neccesary for a softmodded xbox. You either need a chip or a softmod. _________________

chip well the x3 to me is the best and allso the x2 has its good points

So if i hardmod my xbox i don't need anything but the chip?What about xchangerv2.5,is it any good?I have heard from a few people it is and it isn't.I also don't want to spend to much on something that i might get in trouble for.

the x3 has a backup bios and ftp option in x3config you can fix a problem if need be
